If you do not think your injury or medical condition is an emergency but it is urgent and your doctor’s practice is closed for the day, then call 07 348 1000 so we can give you the treatment you need, without an appointment. We also care for visitors to Rotorua who need to see a doctor urgently.
If it is an emergency, please call 111 for an ambulance or visit the emergency department at your nearest hospital.

Lakes PrimeCare are able to refer patients who need an Xray and Lakes Care Pharmacy is in the same building and open 7 days from 8.30am–9pm.
After your consultation, we may refer you back to the doctors practice you are registered with or recommend that you register with a practice in Rotorua so you can get the ongoing medical care you and your family require.
Cuts, sprains, burns and breaks are just some of the accidents we can treat quickly. Don’t wait for an appointment, just give us a call. It is usually better to be seen and patched up so the healing can begin.
Ear infections, UTI’s, allergies, fevers and many other urgent medical concerns are all things Lakes PrimeCare can assess, offer guidance and treatment options for.
If you have had an accident, with a suspected fracture, you may wish to save yourself a visit to the hospital and come to see us. Our clinical staff are experienced in fracture management. We are able to refer you to a specialist if required.
These infusions are available for locally enrolled patients by referral from your doctor only.
